Abstract

Nutritional status is closely related to the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The purpose of this study was to describe the state of the nutritional status of patients with Acid fast bacilli (AFB) positive pulmonary TB at RSUD Kendari City. The method of determining the sample is done by purposive sampling method. The research sample was 51 people. When the research was carried out in January-July 2021, at the RSUD Kendari City. The analysis used is Univariate Analysis. The results of the study showed that the patients with AFB positive pulmonary TB at the RSUD Kendari City were mostly in the normal category of 28 people (59%) and in the less category as many as 23 people (41%). The results of this study are expected to provide information for health workers about the nutritional status of TB patients, so that they can provide therapy or improve nutrition management for patients.
