Adolescents are a highly vulnerable age group prone to experiencing anxiety, especially twelfth-grade students who often face academic pressure and uncertainty about the future. Unaddressed anxiety can negatively impact mental health and academic performance. This study investigated the effects of ASMR relaxation on anxiety levels among students in classes XII-7 and XII-8 at SMA Negeri 1 Ciawi. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population included all 69 students from the two classes, with a sample of 45 students selected using purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) before and after three ASMR intervention sessions, and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results revealed a significant reduction in anxiety levels post-intervention, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The majority of students shifted from moderate or severe anxiety to mild or no anxiety. The conclusion of this study indicates that ASMR relaxation techniques are effective in reducing anxiety among adolescents and can be utilized as a simple and applicable nursing intervention within school settings.
